From Leather to Finished Strap
Each strap moves through a considered sequence of preparation, construction, stitching and finishing before it is ready to wear.
Step 01
Leather selection and pattern cut
Each strap begins with a hand-picked hide; the pattern is placed on the cleanest section of grain, then cut to size.
Step 02
Leather skiving
The edges are thinned to precise tolerances so the strap tapers cleanly and folds without bulk.
Step 03
Core reinforcement
A structural core is set between the layers to give the strap its body and shape retention.
Step 04
The lining layer
A soft lining is prepared for the underside — the surface that rests against the wrist.
Step 05
Bonding the layers
Top leather, core and lining are bonded into a single blank, ready for shaping.
Step 06
Hand-shaping
The bonded strap is shaped and refined by hand to its final profile.
Step 07
Punching stitching holes
Stitching holes are punched one by one at a consistent angle and spacing.
Step 08
First quality inspection
The shaped strap is checked against its specifications before any stitching begins.

Saddle stitching
Two needles and one continuous thread lock every stitch independently — the traditional saddle stitch.

Edge creasing
A heated crease line is drawn along each edge, framing the strap and setting the stitch line.

Precision edge painting
Edges are painted, dried and refined in repeated passes for a smooth, sealed finish.

Second quality inspection
Stitching and edges are inspected before hardware and finishing.
Step 13
Crafting the keepers
The fixed and floating keepers are made by hand to match the strap.
Step 14
Punching pinholes
Adjustment holes are punched cleanly at each sizing position.

Attaching the buckle
The selected buckle is fitted and secured.
Step 16
Integrating quick-release spring bars
Quick-release spring bars are fitted so the strap mounts and removes without tools.
Step 17
Bespoke personalization
Where requested, engraving or personalization is applied at this stage.

Hardware quality review
Buckle, keepers and spring bars are checked for secure fit, alignment and smooth operation.
Step 19
Final quality review
The finished strap is reviewed in full — stitching, edges, hardware and dimensions.
Step 20
Finishing and packaging
The strap is given a final once-over, then carefully packed and prepared for tracked shipping.
